Team Wear Policy

Throughout the swim season, opportunities arise for Springfield Aquatics (SPA) to provide team wear (shirts & swim caps) for swim meets, and Championship and Sectional meets.  Below is a list of SPA team wear that will be provided per activity:

Annual Registration:    Two (2) SPA team shirts and/or sweatshirt and two (2) SPA swim caps

Short Course (SC) State:    SC State shirt    

SC Senior State:        SC State shirt

Spring Sectionals:    Speedo Jacket with SPA logo and event patches

Long Corse (LC) State:    LC Champion shirt

Summer Sectionals:    Speedo Jacket with SPA logo and event patches

Age Group Zones:    5 swim caps

National Team:         Parka and swim bag

Throughout the swim season, the annual team wear budget will be reviewed and if funds are available, a Championship shirt could be substituted for a long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, or tank top at the direction of the SPA Board.  All qualifying SPA swimmers shall receive the team wear provided for the State Championship meets.  If a swimmer qualifies for the Short Course Championships as well as the Short Course Senior Championships, the swimmer will receive only one state shirt. Swimmers that attend Sectional meets will receive only one Speedo jacket and will continue to add patches throughout their swimming years as they attend Sectional and higher swim meets.  Five swim caps will be provided to all SPA swimmers that attend Age Group Zones to allow them to exchange swim caps with other participants at the meet.
